Client: Ambiq Micro — a semiconductor and edge AI technology company.
Challenge
Ambiq ranked for its core technical and product terms on Google, but its content wasn't structured in a way that AI assistants could easily extract and cite. As buyers increasingly research technical vendors through ChatGPT, Gemini, and Copilot alongside Google, invisibility inside those AI-generated answers meant losing consideration at the earliest stage of the buying journey.
Approach
- Restructured key product and technology pages around direct, extractable answers near the top of each section, followed by supporting technical detail
- Implemented
Organization,Service, andFAQPagestructured data across the site to reinforce entity clarity for both search engines and AI crawlers - Verified and maintained crawler access for GPTBot, Google-Extended, and
other AI crawlers in
robots.txt - Built topic clusters connecting product pages to supporting technical and comparison content
- Applied the same video-SEO and channel-optimization approach to Ambiq's YouTube channel to extend reach beyond the website

Search Console shows sustained growth to 23.1K clicks and 2.7M impressions over a rolling three-month window, with 2.16K pages actively indexed.

More importantly, GA4 now shows real referral sessions arriving directly
from AI assistants — chatgpt.com, copilot.microsoft.com, and
gemini.google.com — alongside YouTube as a distinct, measurable acquisition
channel. This is concrete evidence of GEO working: not just theoretical
"AI-friendliness," but AI platforms actually sending visitors.

Ambiq's YouTube channel grew alongside the website, reaching 391K views and gaining 11.3K new subscribers in 2026.
